Set along the banks of Miles River, not far from Washington, D.C., is the Inn at Perry Cabin, a premier resort on Maryland’s eastern shore. Resort management approached us about elevating their wedding and event offerings with a permanent event structure that reflects the inn’s nautical heritage. The result is this Savannah-style event tent, which features a post-and-beam frame of marine-varnished mahogany. Its timeless design includes fully framed side panels with generous expanses of clear glass to maximize views. With the sides rolled up, the tent becomes an al fresco gathering space. The covered entry adds an extra dose of luxury—not to mention practical protection for guests and staff when the weather is less than ideal.
